We're comfortable being the first institutional money into a company — often before a deck is polished, sometimes before revenue. If we're your first believer, we're in our lane.
Four, and only four: Food, Retail, Technology and Supply Chain. If your company sits meaningfully in one of them (or squarely at their intersection), we want to hear from you.
$50K to $250K for a first check. We follow on into subsequent rounds in the companies we back, up to $500K in aggregate.
Pre-seed and seed. Idea-stage is fine if the founding team has domain conviction and a plan for the first six months.
Pan-African. We look at companies serving or building from any African market. Founders based outside the continent should have a clear African go-to-market.
A first response within a week. A full decision within 14 days of our first conversation. We don't ghost — if it's a no, you'll get a clear one.
A standard post-money SAFE with a valuation cap. No pro-rata rights beyond what's fair, no board seats at first check, no MFN gymnastics.
No. A cold email to hello@seeder.africa with two paragraphs about what you're building is treated exactly the same as any warm intro.
